KwaZulu-Natal boxer Mapule Ngubane will meet Rushda Mallick from Gauteng again more than a year since they clashed for the then vacant South African female middleweight title.
This time around, Ngubane will be defending her national crown against Mallick at the Olive Convention Centre in Durban this coming Friday. Ngubane defeated Mallick on points when they fought for the SA title at the Greyville Convention Centre in March last year.
Meanwhile, current SA female junior-bantamweight champion Thema Zuma is going to fight against Malawian Chimwemwe Banda in an eight rounds bout.
