Basetsana have been eliminated from the 2024 FIFA Under-20 World Cup qualifiers following a 2-2 draw with Burundi at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Wednesday afternoon.
The Burundians have now progressed to the next round of the qualifiers courtesy of an away goal rule.
Basetsana’s goals were scored by Adrielle Mibe and Lindelwa Mabuza while Chancelina Akemina and Annociate Nshimirimana netted for the Burundians.
