Mamelodi Sundowns have booked themselves a place in the quarter-finals of  the CAF Champions League following a 2-0 win over FC Nouadhibou at Stade Cheikha Boidiy in Nouakchott, Mauritania, on Saturday evening.

The Tshwane giants led 1-0 at half-time through their defender Grant Kekana’s goal which he scored following an assist from Marcelo Allende in the 21st minute. 

Second half substitute and former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch made it 2-0 in the dying minutes of the match. This was Lorch’s first goal since his recent move from Pirates to the Brazilians.
