Erstwhile South African lightweight champion Xolisani ‘Nomeva’ Ndongeni is returning to the United States of America (USA) just more than two months after he lost to unbeaten American boxer Arnold Barboza Junior.

This time around, the former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) lightweight titlist is scheduled to clash against yet another unbeaten American Raymond ‘Danger’ Muratalla at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday, 29 March (Saturday, 30 March, South African time).

After losing to Barboza Jr, the 33-year-old KwaBhaca-born Ndongeni remained behind in the US, training in Miami while his trainer Mzamo ‘Chief’ Njekanye returned to South Africa.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Muratalla from Arizona is the current World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Global lightweight champion, who has won all his 19 fights with 16 of those victories coming from stoppages.
