Orlando Pirates announced on Thursday evening the sad news of the passing away of their director Stanley ‘Screamer’ Tshabalala. He was 75.
The former Bafana Bafana coach succumbed to injuries he sustained after he was shot during a robbery at his home in March this year.
Tshabalala, who was a raconteur, was a founding member of Kaizer Chiefs. It was under his coaching that Mamelodi Sundowns played what was then called Shoe Shine and Piano during the 1980s.
