Cape Town Spurs confirmed on Thursday afternoon that their defender Rushwin Dortley had left the club to join Kaizer Chiefs.
The 22-year-old central defender was also on the wanted list of Stellenbosch FC and SuperSport United. Dortley captained Bafana Bafana during the recent COSAFA Cup in Gqeberha.
“Cape Town Spurs FC would like to thank Rushwin and his family for the belief and trust they entrusted in us over the years . With their unwavering support and patience , we were able to assist in moulding Rushwin into the great player and person that he is today. They believed wholeheartedly in the culture and process of youth development and we delivered,” a Spurs statement said.
