Stellenbosch FC have reached the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup after a 3-1 aggregate win over AS Vita Club from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Stellies drew 1-1 with the Linafoot giants in a second leg match played at Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa on Sunday afternoon. The Cape Winelands side defeated the Congolese 2-0 in the first leg last weekend.
Lehlogonolo Mojela gave Stellies the lead in the 71st minute and the home side equalised in referee’s added time.
