The disciplinary committee of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) fined Kaizer Chiefs R100 000 after they pleaded guilty on a charge of spectator misbehaviour

The charge stems from what Amakhosi supporters did when the team lost to Mamelodi Sundowns in a Betway Premiership encounter at the FNB Stadium late last month.

Half of Thursday’s fine was suspended on condition that Chiefs are not found guilty of the same offence during the period of suspension, which is until the end of the season.

Chiefs had a suspended fine of R100,000 from a similar incident last season and they now have to pay the full amount plus the R50 000 including the costs of the sitting of Thursday’s DC.
