TS Galaxy officially announced on Friday morning that their German-born coach Sead Ramovic had left the club.
The 45-year-old Ramovic announced his departure from the Rockets live on television following their 1-1 draw with Stellenbosch FC at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town on Wednesday evening.
A spate of poor results forced Ramovic to quit his job leaving the Rockets stone last on the Premiership table after they collected two points from six matches.
“Thank you, coach Sead Ramovic, for your dedication, leadership, and the impact you’ve had on the team. Your hard work, passion, and belief in every player have truly inspired us to aim higher and push further. We’re grateful for your commitment and the positive energy you brought every day. Thank you for the wisdom and growth we’ve gained under your guidance,” a Rockets statement said.
Meanwhile, Bosnian Adnan Beganovic has since been appointed as Rockets caretaker coach and will be assisted by Vuyo Mere.
