The Proteas defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets on day four of the second Test at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town on Monday to complete a 2-0 series win over the Asians.

David Bedingham scored an unbeaten 44 and Aiden Markram knocked 14 runs in 7.1 overs to give the Proteas, who were chasing 58 to win, victory after Pakistan were bowled out for 478 in 122.1 overs in their second innings.

The Proteas knocked 615 runs in 141.3 overs in the first innings while the Pakistanis hit 194 all out something which led to a follow on.
