Mamelodi Sundowns were too sharp as they whipped Lamontville Golden Arrows 4-0 in a Betway Premiership encounter at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville west of Pretoria on Sunday evening.
Lucas Ribeiro Costa converted a penalty to give the Brazilians the lead in the 44th minute after Peter Shalulile was fouled by Arrows goalkeeper Isima Watenga inside the box. This was the 26-year-old Brazilian’s 10th goal of the season.
Namibian-born forward Shalulile made it 2-0 in the 65th minute and he completed his brace 15 minutes later. Teboho Mokoena scored the Brazilians’ fourth goal of the match from long range in the 85th minute.
