Former Mamelodi Sundowns mentor Manqoba Mngqithi returned to Lamontville Golden Arrows for his third stint at the club on Monday.
And as fate would have it, Mngqithi’s first match in charge of Abafana Bes’thende is going to be against Sundowns at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammersdale on Wednesday evening.
The 53-year-old Mngqithi remains the only coach to win a trophy with Arrows having led them to MTN8 glory when they whipped Ajax Cape Town 6-0 at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto at the beginning of the 2009/10 season.
