It’s going to be a fight which will pit two unbeaten boxers against each other as Asekho Nocele clashes with Lebogang Langa in just over two months.
Nocele and Langa, who trains at the WBC Gym in downtown Johannesburg, are scheduled to show their fistic skills when they collide at Cabo Beach, V and A Waterfront, Cape Town, on Saturday, 25 October.
“I’ll be fighting against Lebogang Langa in October. He’s unbeaten in four fights and has stopped three of his opponents,” Nocele revealed.
This is going to be Nocele’s first fight since he returned to be trained by former International Boxing Federation (IBF) Intercontinental bantamweight champion Mzuvukile ‘Old Bones’ Magwaza in Cape Town.
With eight wins and six knockouts, the Mthatha-born Nocele, who is a World Boxing Federation (WBF) International bantamweight titlist, had been with Colin ‘Nomakanjani’ Nathan’s NO DOUBT Management before his return to be trained by Magwaza.
Both Nocele and Langa will be engaged in their third fights of the Year. Nocele last fought during his win over Lopez Maluleke in April while Langa hasn’t seen action since he defeated Saul Hlungwani in March.
