Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos called Kaizer Chiefs defender Thabiso Monyane to the national team ahead of Tuesday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.
Monyane received the national team call-up after Sekhukhune United right-back Nyiko Mobbie got injured during Bafana’s 3-0 win over Lesotho in Bloemfontein on Friday evening.
Bafana are still in Bloemfontein as they continue with their preparations for Tuesday’s qualifier against the Nigerian Super Eagles at the Free State Stadium.
