With less than 10 games into the new season, Kaizer Chiefs have taken an extraordinary decision and fired their coach Nasreddine Nabi on Wednesday.

The Tunisian’s sacking came just after Amakhosi lost for the first time this season when they were whipped 3-1 by Sekukhune United in a Betway Premiership encounter at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Tuesday evening.

Apparently, Chiefs bosses pulled the trigger on Nabi after he failed to produce his coaching qualifications, which are the prerequisite for sitting on the bench during CAF interclub competitions.

Amakhosi travel to Angola for a CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round match against Kabuscorp SC on Saturday.
