Orlando Pirates trounced Lioli FC from Lesotho 3-0 in a CAF Champions League preliminary round encounter at the Free State Stadium in Mangaung on Saturday afternoon.
Following a goalless first half, the Buccaneers proved too good for Lioli as they scored three times in the second stanza.
Tshegofatso Mabasa opened the scoring in the 53rd minute and completed his brace four minutes later. Oswin Appollis netted the Buccaneers’ third goal in referee’s added time.
