Chippa United stole a point as they drew 1-1 with log-leaders Sekhukhune United in a Betway Premiership tie at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday.

The Chilli Boys shocked Babina Noko when they took the lead through Boy Madingwane’s goal in the 53rd minute following a Justice Figareido assist.

Babina Noko fought very hard and their efforts were rewarded with a penalty, which was converted by Bradley Grobler in the 79th minute. The Limpopo side had a chance to take three points had it not been for Grobler whose penalty was saved by Chilli Boys goalminder Stanley Nwabali in referee’s added time.

Elsewhere, TS Galaxy beat AmaZulu 3-1 at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.

The Rockets’ goals came from Seluleko Mahlambi, Keegan Allan’s own goal and Mory Keita while Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya scored for Usuthu.
