Orlando Pirates eased to a 4-0 win over Lesotho side Lioli FC in a CAF Champions League preliminary round match at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Saturday afternoon.
Pirates won 7-0 on aggregate having beaten the Lesotho club 3-0 in the first leg match played at the Free State Stadium in Mangaung last weekend.
Back to Saturday’s match, the Buccaneers led 1-0 at the break following Tshepang Moremi’s beautiful free kick on the stroke of half-time.
Moremi, formerly with AmaZulu, completed his brace three minutes into the second stanza of the match. And this was Moremi’s fifth goal in six matches.
Former Richards Bay FC forward Yanela Mbuthuma made it 3-0 in the 78th minute and he netted his second goal three minutes later.
