Amajita were in their element as they whipped New Caledonia 5-0 in an Under-20 World Cup Group E match at the Estadio El Teniente, Rancagua, in Chile early on Friday morning, South African time. 

Amajita made their intentions clear when they took the lead through Siviwe Nkwali’s goal following an assist from Langelihle Phili in the 26th minute. 

Shakeel April increased Amajita’s lead from the penalty spot in the 34th minute after Siviwe Magidigidi was fouled inside the box. 

Not to be outdone, Magidigidi netted Amajita’s third goal after he was put through by Mfundo Vilakazi on the stroke of half-time. 

Seven minutes into the second half, Vilakazi turned provider yet again as Magidigidi completed his brace and Lazola Maku put the final nail into the New Caledonia coffin 1hen he made it 5-0 from a Jody Ah Shene assist.

Meanwhile, Amajita clash with their United States of America (USA) counterparts in their final Group E match on Sunday at 22h00, South African time.
