The fight between Aphiwe Boyiya and Sibusiso Zingange is not going to happen any time soon as they will have a little longer before they clash against each other, yet again.
This followed after the postponement of their vacant South African junior-welterweight title fight, which was scheduled for Saturday, 29 November, in Gqeberha.
Zantsi Showtime Productions boss Mbali Zantsi, who was going to promote the fight, said: “The tournament has been postponed. I didn’t want to force matters thus I decided to postpone the tournament.”
The fight between the two gladiators has been postponed a number times since July. And it looks like they will now have to wait until early next year before they can collide against each other.
Meanwhile, the SA junior-welterweight title was left vacant after former champion Ntethelelo Nkosi opted to fight in the WBC Grand Prix in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Mtubatuba-born Nkosi lost to unbeaten Colombian boxer Carlos Alfonso Utria Lopez in the semi-finals of the tournament.
