Kaizer Chiefs have done it again, defeating ZESCO United for the second successive weekend as they won 1-0 against the Zambians in a Group D CAF Confederation Cup match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Sunday afternoon.
After beating ZESCO 1-0 through Pule Mmodi’s strike in Lusaka last weekend, Amakhosi repeated the same feat as they defeated the Zambians with Glody Lilepo from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) netting the only goal of the match.
Meanwhile, Algerian side CR Belouizdad were too good for Stellenbosch FC whipping the Cape Winelands side 3-0 in another Confederation Cup match held at the Cape Town Stadium.
