AmaZulu marched to the Nedbank Cup last-16 after they beat Polokwane City 2-1 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Tuesday evening.
It was 1-1 at the end of the first half with Taariq Fielies having opened the scoring for Usuthu in the 10th minute and Lebohang Nkaki equalised for Rise and Shine on the stroke of half-time.
The match went into extra time after the two sides were 1-1 after regulation time. And Zimbabwean Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya scored Usuthu’s winning goal in the 114th minute.
