Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns edged out Sekhukhune United 3-1 in a Betway Premiership match at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday afternoon.

Marcelo Allende gave the Tshwane giants the lead in the 31st minute and Bradley Grobler equalised 25 minutes into the second half. Substitute Iqraam Rayners struck twice in the 81st minute and in referee’s added time to give the Brazilians a 3-1 win over Babina Noko.

Meanwhile, Durban City moved up to fourth position on the Premiership table after they defeated Marumo Gallants 1-0 through Saziso Magawana’s goal at the Dr Molemela Stadium in Mangaung.
