Sabelo Ndwandwe maintained his unbeaten record after he defeated Khotso Ramabolu at the Kagiso Memorial and Recreation Centre in Krugersdorp on Sunday evening.
Ndwandwe registered his second career stoppage win as he beat Ramabolu by a fifth round technical knockout on his way to winning the vacant Gauteng featherweight title.
As a result of the win, Ndwandwe stretched his winning streak to four victories with two stoppages. On the other hand, Ramabolu dropped to four wins and four losses.
Meanwhile, South African female junior-featherweight champion Nomusa Ngema defeated Zimbabwean Chiedza Homakoma on points in a junior-lightweight bout.
