Kaizer Chiefs announced the appointment of Olivier Sorin from France as the club’s new goalkeeper coach on Thursday afternoon.
According to Chiefs, Sorin, a UEFA Goalkeeper A Licence holder, has joined Amakhosi pn a two-year contract with an option to renew for a further year.
The former professional goalkeeper has over the past decade played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of several international goalminders including Édouard Mendy, Steve Mandanda and Doğan Alemdar.
Sorin is already in South Africa to join the Amakhosi technical team, which will be led by newly-appointed coach Fernando da Cruz, who is his compatriot.
