Stellenbosch FC continued beefing their squad as they announced the signing of Gqeberha-born striker Sinoxolo Kwayiba on a permanent transfer from Chippa United on Thursday morning.

The 26-year-old Kwayiba joined the Cape Winelands side on a long-term contract. Kwayiba, who had a brief spell at Orlando Pirates, has scored 16 goals in 51 league appearances.

“Sinoxolo is an exciting player who we have admired for some time, so we are delighted to welcome him to the club,” Stellies chief executive officer Rob Benadie, said.

“He is a proven goalscorer and match-winner who has consistently displayed his ability to compete at the highest level, and we believe he will be a valuable addition to our squad.”
