Kaizer Chiefs have remained on top of the Betway Premiership standings after they whipped Sekhukhune United 2-0 at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Wednesday evening.

After the two sides went to the half-time break without a goal, Amakhosi took the lead through Luke Baartman in the 63rd minute. And Mduduzi Shabalala added the second goal six minutes before full-time to hand Chiefs their second win in two matches.

Meanwhile, AmaZulu and Orlando Pirates drew 1-1 at the King’s Park Stadium in Durban with Tshepang Moremi scoring for the Buccaneers and Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya netted for Usuthu.

A Menzi Chili goal in the second half gave Milford FC a 1-0 win over Siwelele FC at the UMhlathuze Sports Complex in Richards Bay and Durban City played to a goalless draw against Lamontville Golden Arrows at Durban’s Chatsworth Stadium.
