Orlando Pirates put up a beautiful second half performance as they thrashed Chippa United 3-0 in a Betway Premiership match at the King’s Park Stadium in Durban on Sunday afternoon.
It looked like the Chilli Boys were going to hold their own against the Buccaneers until Ghampani Lungu gave Pirates the lead after he was put through by Patrick Maswanganyi in the 61st minute.
Three minutes later, Lebone Seema increased Bucs’ lead from a Deon Hotto assist. And Daniel Msendami put the final into the Chilli Boys coffin when he made it 3-0 in the 88th minute to take Pirates to the top of the Premiership standings.
