Less than a month after leaving Betway Premiership champions, Orlando Pirates, Deano van Rooyen was announced as a new Mamelodi Sundowns player on Sunday afternoon.
The 29-year-old former Stellenbosch FC captain was released by the Buccaneers recently. He had been with the Buccaneers since 2024 having joined them from Stellies.
“Mamelodi Sundowns are delighted to announce the signing of Deano van Rooyen, who joins us on a multi-year deal,” a Sundowns statement said.
