Shortly after Orlando Pirates had announced his departure from the Buccaneers, Mandla Ncikazi was confirmed as the new Lamontville Golden Arrows coach on Thursday evening.
Ncikazi returned to Abafana Bes’thende after being away, working at the Buccaneers since joining them in 2021. He takes over the coaching reigns from Pitso Dladla, who got the boot on Thursday.
“Lamontville Golden Arrows is delighted to welcome back Mandla Ncikazi, who returns to Abafana Bes’thende as head coach,” an Abafana Bes’thende statement read.
Dladla had only been with Abafana Bes’thende for less than six months having joined them after he was fired by Durban City.
