Coach Josef Zinnbauer can breathe freely now that his team Orlando Pirates have won a match following two disappointing results.
The Buccaneers beat Maritzburg United 1-0 in a DStv Premiership fixture at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday evening. Deon Hotto scored the only goal of the match.
Before meeting the Team of Choice, Pirates lost 2-0 to Black Leopards away and drew goalless with Lamontville Golden Arrows at home.
“Tough game, we had big chances in the first half. The first 10 minutes was good, we had opportunities to score,” said Zinnbauer.
“(Richard) Ofori made good work. In general, the whole team made good work. It was not the best performance against a relegation team.
“We hope to get good recovery and focus on the next game. We will see what happens in the next game.”
The Buccaneers are going to welcome TS Galaxy at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday at 17h00. Thereafter, Pirates will face Kaizer Chiefs in a Soweto derby at the same venue on Saturday (15h30).
