Coach Rahul Dravid and his Indian national team arrived in South Africa on Thursday ahead of three Test matches and three one day internationals (ODIs) against the Proteas. 

The Indian team went straight to the Irene Country Lodge where they are going to be based for the duration of their stay in Gauteng. 

They play the first Test against the Proteas in Centurion from Sunday, 26 December. The second Test is scheduled to start at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Monday, 3 January 2022. The third and final Test is set for Newlands in Cape Town from Tuesday, 11 January. 

Thereafter, the two teams meet in the first ODI at Boland Park in Paarl on Wednesday, 19 January. The second ODI is also scheduled for the same venue two days later. The final ODI will be played at Newlands on Sunday, 23 January.
