Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila are going to play against Chippa United in the final of the Nedbank Cup at a soon-to-be announced venue on Saturday, 8 May.
This comes after Vhadau Vha Damani defied the odds and beat Mamelodi Sundowns 6-5 on penalties at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday.
The match had to be decided on penalties after the two sides played to a goalless draw in two hours of football. This is the third time in the history of the Nedbank Cup that Sundowns lost in the semi-finals.
TTM goalkeeper and man-of-the-match Washington Arubi was on top his game as he thwarted Sundowns’ many goalscoring opportunities.
Meamwhile, the Chilli Boys reached the final after they beat GladAfrica Championship side Pretoria Callies 1-0 at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium on Atteridgeville on Saturday.
