Desperate Chippa United have appointed Vladislav Heric as their technical adviser amid growing concerns that they might get relegated at the end of the season.
This is the Serbian-born coach’s third stint at the Gqeberha-based Chilli Boys.
Heric, who was fired by Cape Town Spurs in the GladAfrica Championship this season, is expected to help caretaker coach Siyabulela Gwambi save the Chilli Boys from relegation.
“Vladislav is a person that is familiar with the success of the brand having helped us win the GladAfrica Championship in the 2013/14 season. We do welcome him back to the club where his experience will play a pivotal role,” Chilli Boys chairman Siviwe ‘Chippa’ Mpengesi said.
The Chilli Boys are desperate for points as they are 15th on the Premiership table having won three times, drawn eight and lost 12 matches.
Meanwhile, the Chilli Boys are going to welcome Lamontville Golden Arrows in a DStv Premiership match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Sunday.
