It looks like East London boxing trainer Ben Mtyaliselo can’t wait to usher his son Luzuko Siyo into war.
Mtyaliselo was set to lead Siyo in a fight against World Boxing Federation (WBF) Africa bantamweight champion Sanele Magwaza this coming Sunday.
However, the tournament scheduled for the Nangoza Jebe Hall in New Brighton, Gqeberha, was postponed to Saturday, 3 July something which Mtyaliselo believes is going to help them fine tune their strategy.
“We never expected the postponement. We were ready to do the business. We were ready for Magwaza and we will go to Gqeberha and take the title. Luzuko is ready to conquer again,” Mtyaliselo said.
Meanwhile, Nozipho Bell from Gqeberha faces Capetonian Ntombokuqala Tolashe in a vacant South African female junior-lightweight title fight on the same bill while Thembani Okolo clashes with Phumlani Maloni in a WBF International strawweight contest.
