Chippa United and Richards Bay FC played to a 1-1 draw in a PSL promotion/relegation play-off at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex in Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday afternoon.
There was no score in the first 45 minutes. Gqeberha-based Chilli Boys were the first to score through Maloisane Ramasimong in the 56th minute. The Natal Rich Boyz equalised through Siyabonga Vilane in the 73rd minute. The Chilli Boys beat the Natal Rich Boyz 2-1 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha last Saturday.
Both sides are left with ‘clashes’ against rebellious Royal AM at home. Royal AM failed to pitch in two home matches against the Chilli Boys and the Natal Rich Boyz. It’s not clear whether Royal AM will pitch for the last two matches.
