The Blitzboks are going to face Argentina in the Olympic Sevens quarter-finals at 11h30 on Tuesday. 
This follows after the Blitzboks beat the United States 17-12 in their final Group C match on Tuesday morning. 
The Americans scored first through Joe Schoeder’s try early in the match. Selvyn Davids crossed the try line for the Blitzboks to go 5-5 at half time. 
Stedman Gans and Davids scored tries for the Blitzboks in the second half with Brett Thompson scoring America’s second try. 
The Blitzboks reached the next round of the Olympic Sevens after winning all their three group stages matches against Ireland (33-14), Kenya (14-5) and the US.
