Durban-based Royal AM have been sold to Limpopo businessman Masala Mulaudzi.
The sale of the club by owner Shauwn Mkhize to Mulaudzi has been approved by the executive committee of the Premier Soccer League (PSL). Mulaudzi is going to change the name of the team to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
This is the same Mulaudzi who bought Bidvest Wits’ status last year and renamed them TTM. He then sold TTM to Abram Sello in Polokwane.
Sello changed the name of the team from TTM to Marumo Gallants and moved their home ground from Thohoyandou Stadium to Peter Mokaba in Polokwane.
Having sold her club, Mkhize will now acquire the status of financial constrained DStv Premiership side Bloemfontein Celtic.
