It looked like Royal AM were going to steal a point from Swallows FC as the match was about to end goalless, however Strydom Wambi had other ideas as he netted right at the death to give the Dube Birds a 1-0 win over the KwaZulu-Natal side.
It was as if Swallows’ bad habit of playing draws didn’t want to go away as match referee Siyabulela Qunta was preparing to blow the final whistle at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Sunday afternoon.
Second half substitute Keletso Makgalwa whipped in a cross from the right hand side and Wambi headed in past AM goalkeeper Sipho Chained during added time.
