Yet another opponent from the Philippines for vastly-talented Nhlanhla “Mount Kilimanjaro” Tyirha as he is going to clash against Esneth Domingo next month.

Tyirha, who won the South African junior-flyweight title in his fourth professional fight in December 2018, faces Domingo in a 10 rounds international bout at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC) on Saturday, 28 May.

Domingo is the third Filipino boxer to face Tyirha, who has six wins with two stoppages and one defeat. Domingo’s compatriots Jaysever Abcede and Joey Canoy lost to Tyirha in October and May respectively.

Going by the moniker ‘Hard Hitter’, Domingo has an impressive 50 percent knockout ratio having a professional record of 16 wins with eight stoppages and a loss.

Meanwhile, SA featherweight champion Asanda Gingqi will make his second defence of his title when he faces his stablemate Zolisa Batyi in the same bill.
