Bafana Bafana returnee Themba Zwane is feeling happy after he made a great return to the national team.

Zwane dished out a great performance scoring two goals when Bafana trounced Sierra Leone 4-0 in an international friendly match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday.

“I’m feeling happy. We did well as a team. We did what we were supposed to do on the field. It’s been long for me scoring goals for the national team,” Zwane remarked.

“It felt good to be back in the national team. It feels good to be with the guys, the understanding that we have. The guys I play with in the same team always tell me that the camp is good. I’m enjoying it.”

The 33-year-old award-winning Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder has made it clear that he’s got nothing to prove in Bafana.

“I was enjoying myself, showing appreciation for the call-up. It always feels good to get a call-up, that’s why I’m doing my job,” Zwane said.
