Lerato ‘Lights Out’ Dlamini will feel more confident going to his fight against James ‘Jazza’ Dickens in a fortnight’s time. 

This comes after Dlamini stopped Filipino opponent Jelbirt Gomera in an international bout at PACOFS, Bloemfontein, on Friday evening.

Dlamini from Thabong in Welkom pummelled Gomera forcing the referee to stop the fight in the fourth round. 

The Colin Nathan-trained Dlamini is going to face Dickens in an International Boxing Organisation (IBO) featherweight title in Liverpool on Saturday, 15 October. 

Meanwhile, John Bopape won the vacant African Boxing Union (ABU) middleweight after he stopped Mbiya Kanku from the Democratic Republic of Congo in the second round.
