Briton Daniel Dubois retained his World Boxing Association (WBA) heavyweight title after he stopped South African boxer Kevin Lerena at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, United Kingdom, on Saturday evening. 

After dropping Dubois three times in the first round, the 30-year-old Lerena suffered a third round stoppage loss – his second career defeat. 

The 25-year-old Dubois has improved his record to 19 (18 knockouts) and a loss while Lerena dropped to 28 victories (14 stoppages) and two defeats.
