Nozipho Bell from Walmer in Gqeberha is scheduled to make the second defence of her South African female junior-lightweight title at the Indoor Sport Centre in Kariega on Sunday, 18 December.  

The former World Boxing Federation (WBF) featherweight titlist is set to fight against Mashudu Ramakwelo. This is going to be Ramakwelo’s second visit to the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro this year. 

Ramakwelo from Thohoyandou, Limpopo, was stopped by Ntombokuqala Tolashe at the Nangoza Jebe Hall in New Brighton, Gqeberha, in August. 

Bell won the title when she outpointed Tolashe in Gqeberha in July last year. Bell defended her SA crown against Tolashe just over two months ago. 

Meanwhile, former SA welterweight champion Mziwoxolo Ndwayana from Makhanda faces Ugandan Nicholas Jooga in the main supporting bout.
