Guilly Manziba scored a last-minute equaliser as his team AmaZulu drew 1-1 with Maritzburg United in a KwaZulu-Natal derby at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Friday evening.
Kwame Peprah, who secured his work permit on Friday, scored for the Team of Choice on debut in the 32nd minute. The Ghanaian joined the Team of Choice on loan from Orlando Pirates.
The 22-year-old Peprah had a wonderful opportunity to score a brace, but shot wide with only Usuthu captain and goalkeeper Veli Mothwa to beat in the 66th minute.
Second half substitute Manziba, who came on for Sphesihle Maduna in the 76th minute, equalised for Usuthu after he picked up a loose ball inside the box in referee’s added time.
