Orlando Pirates won their sixth successive match after they defeated TS Galaxy 2-1 in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Sunday afternoon.
The Buccaneers raced to an early lead when Terrence Dzvukamanja netted in the second minute. The Rockets equalised after Given Msimango pulled one back six minutes before the half-time break.
Deon Hotto made sure that the Soweto giants regained their lead when he scored a minute before the hour mark to take Pirates back to second spot on the Premiership standings with only three games to go.
