Major League Soccer (MLS) side Toronto FC confirmed the signing of Cassius Mailula from DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Friday.
The 22-year-old Limpopo-born Bafana Bafana forward has signed a three-year contract with an option to extend.
Toronto FC general manager Jason Hernandez said: “He is a player that will bring a different dimension to our play with his versatility, movement, and finishing ability with both feet. He will also provide us with a new young profile off the pitch, with his humility, grit, and ambition to reach the highest level.”
