Mamelodi Sundowns confirmed on Thursday morning that Namibian-born forward Peter Shalulile’s time at the club had come to an end and the player has left the CAF Champions League kings.
The 32-year-old Shalulile left the Tshwane giants having scored 107 goals in 228 appearances since joining them from Highlands Park in 2020.
Shalulile earned legendary status at the African champions as he won countless trophies during his time at the Brazilians. He won the league title five times, African Football League, Nedbank Cup, MTN8 and CAF Champions League.
