AmaZulu collected maximum points after they beat their provincial neighbours, Richards Bay FC, 2-1 in a Betway Premiership encounter at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, Durban, on Friday evening.

Following goalless first stanza, Zimbabwean-born goalpoacher, Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya, netted Usuthu’s opening goal seven minutes into the second half.

And after making forays into the Usuthu box, the Natal Rich Boyz finally equalised when Moses Mthembu converted a penalty in the 81st minute.

Usuthu replied quickly as they restored their lead a minute later through Nkosikhona Radebe following a pass from Athini Maqokolo. As a result of their win, Usuthu have moved up to third place.
