The sold out signs have gone up for Kevin Lerena’s fight against Scott Forrest scheduled for the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday, 7 November.
It was announced on Thursday evening that all 3 000 tickets on sale for the Aquila Boxing Promotions tournament have been sold.
Lerena faces Forrest from the United Kingdom (UK) in a vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) International cruiserweight title contest. And this is going to be Lerena’s first fight since he lost his WBC bridgerweight title to Ivorian-born Belgian boxer, Ryad Merhy, in May.
Lerena will be out to redeem himself after losing his last two fights to Merhy and Lawrence Okolie in a WBC Silver heavyweight title fight. On the other hand, Forrest lost to Connal McDonald in his last fight held in May.
